Situated within the Hans Town Conservation Area of the prestigious Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea, this refurbishment of a three-storey townhouse apartment demanded a sensitive design approach due to its prominent location. The new dormer extension on the top floor will transform this space into a versatile office or guest bedroom, boasting stunning views of the charming mews below and the iconic Hyde Park beyond.

The interior brief for the other three levels was simple, “Hints of steampunk, and traces of Sherlock Holmes Victorian London”. Using brick finishes for the main feature walls, and the use of hand made iron handrails throughout will give the spaces real character.
